In September 2020 I co-authored a frog design mind article with Austin-based design director Alexis Puchek called Extended Realities Become Reality. The article describes how new and existing clients are increasingly looking to frog for guidance and innovative design solutions that utilize XR hardware and software platforms. While we’ve developed a wide variety of XR implementations and uses, our clients have seen the most successful outcomes when they see XR as an enabler for other experiences and processes. The three most common enabling methods use Extended Reality:
1) As a means to enable human superpowers
2) As a method of facilitating compelling storytelling
3) As a tool to accelerate the product development cycle.
