As part of working on the Magritte: The Fifth Season interpretive gallery I was able to attend a number of openings and witness the successful launch of the exhibition first hand. Watching the different types of audiences from older collectors to young members engage the digital experiences never got old.

The show generated a fair amount of press, I liked the sentiment in this article from KQED:

you emerge into the exhibition’s spot-on interpretive gallery full of surrealist selfie machines and are allowed, finally, to play.

The press opening welcomed over 100 members of the press, the largest press opening since the new addition was built.
Charly Herscovici, the founder and head of the Magritte foundation, leads a couple of collectors through the interpretive gallery at the collector opening.
Over 10,000 people showed up to the member opening.
